City-Wide Sign Replacement/Speed Limit Update
A City-wide sign assessment was conducted and completed to assess all retroflectivity levels of all signs within the City. Retroflectivity is a property of a surface that allows a large portion of the light coming from a point source to be returned directly back to a point near its origin. Numerous signs throughout the City were identified to be replaced due to age, fading, weather exposure, damage, and normal wear. Replacement of these signs will ensure continued safety for motorists, pedestrians, and cyclists.
With the sign replacement project that will take place in June 2026, Speed Limit signs will also be adjusted in the following street segments:
