Walnut is an economically strong Community with tremendous buying power. The median household income and rate of home ownership are substantially higher than other successful retail cities such as Arcadia, Glendale and Irvine. Additionally, the median home value is also lower, allowing for a higher discretionary income. As a community, we agree that carefully planned economic development is necessary to our continued economic stability and quality of life. We invite you to come prosper with us.

Small Business Spotlight
The City of Walnut is proud to support and celebrate our local business community through the Small Business Spotlight Program. This initiative highlights outstanding small businesses through short feature videos shared on the City’s social media platforms and website.
Participating businesses gain increased visibility while sharing their stories, services, and contributions to the community. In addition, each featured business is formally recognized at a City Council meeting for their impact and dedication.
Join us in celebrating the small businesses that make Walnut a vibrant place to live, work, and shop!
