City Facilities HVAC Replacement

The City of Walnut Public Works Department will be replacing the HVAC units at both the Walnut Gymnasium and Teen Center and the Walnut Senior Center the week of 11/10/25 - 11/14/25.

Walnut Gymnasium/Teen Center:

  • Will be closed on Monday 11/10/25 to allow for a crane to remove and install all new units. 

  • Air conditioning will be functional by the end of the day Monday 11/10/25.

  • The Gym/TC will resume regular operation on Wednesday 11/12/25. (Tuesday 11/11/25 is a City Holiday)

Walnut Senior Center:

  • Will be closed all week starting Monday 11/10/25 through Friday 11/14/25 due to necessary roof work required for the installation.

  • The Senior Center will resume regular operation on Saturday 11/15/25.
