Planning Commission

The five member Planning Commission reviews matters related to zoning, land use, building and planning which may not be approved at a staff level. The Planning Commission may approve or deny building and land use requests or forward recommendations to the City Council. Decisions made by the Planning Commission may be appealed to the City Council.

Meetings

The Planning Commission meets on the third Wednesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. Planning Commission meetings are held in the Council Chambers at Walnut City Hall, 21201 La Puente Road, Walnut, CA 91789. All meetings are open to the public and the public may address the commission during the oral communications portion of the meeting.
