Sports Leagues
Adult Basketball Leagues (ABL): Coed
Leagues are offered year-round, Fall, Winter/Spring, and Summer. Registration is on a first come first serve basis. All games will be held at the Walnut Gymnasium. Players must be 18 years or older to play. League uses CIF rules and regulations to govern the league in addition to City rules. Game times start between 7:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
Spring: Season has been cancelled.
Summer: Season information will be available in May.
Walnut Youth Basketball League (WYB)
Summer league begins June 20, 2026 - August 1, 2026.
Resident registration begins: April 20, 2026.
Non-resident registration begins: April 27, 2026.
Divisions are co-ed and appropriate for children in kindergarten to eighth grade. Walnut Youth Basketball is a great opportunity for both the experienced and beginning player to develop fundamentals, learn basic skills, and gain team building experience. Registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis, and must be done in person at the Walnut Gymnasium. Proof of residency and grade level is required.
- Rookies Division: K - 2nd (Previously Division 1)
- Division C: 3rd - 4th (Previously Division 2)
- Division B: 5th - 6th (Previously Division 3)
- Division A: 7th - 8th (Previously Division 4)

Walnut Youth Volleyball League (WYVB)
This is a co-ed league with all practices and games to be held at the Walnut Gymnasium and Teen Center. Practices will be once a week for an hour and is dependent on volunteer coaches.
Division A: 7th & 8th Grades
Division B: 5th & 6th Grades

Registration is IN PERSON ONLY and on a first-come first-serve basis. Registration is taken Monday through Friday at the Walnut Gymnasium and Teen Center.
